Working a full time job makes it so easy to neglect your nails. Most work environments are far from ideal for optimum cuticle care.
I've found the best way to keep up with my routine is to try as much as I can to keep one or two of my easy treatments in sight. Whenever your hands feel a little dry and you reach for your hand cream, massage a little extra into your nails and cuticles.
I have a little Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Nail Pen. It's discreet enough to keep with your pens and absorbs extremely quickly for a super quick dose of moisture.
When it comes to lotions and potions we all have out favourites.
Personally, my routine differs from day time to evening. Even having a routine at all is a fairly new thing to me!
I carry a few essential items with me wherever I go....

1. Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Cuticle & Nail Treatment.
This little pen lives on my keyboard for a really quick fix anytime I need a little hydration boost.
2.OPI Avojuice.
It smells lovely, applies very smoothly and absorbs extremely quickly. I'm quite sensitive to scents that I don't like, so finding something that my olfactory system doesn't object to is important.
3. Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream.
This is my little miracle find! I utterly love this stuff! A little goes a long way, it smells lovely, soaks in quickly and doesn't leave a greasy residue. I use this 2-3 times a day and can't recommend it enough! (It's also handbag proof, serious plus points!)
4. Rimmel Nail Nurse.
This lives in my handbag. My nails are still at a stage where anything I put on them tend to starts chipping or peeling off, so this is more of a quick emergency treatment. I also apply it under all of my manicures.

When you have a little more time, usually in the evenings, applying a slightly thicker hand lotion will benefit you massively. I find applying the Skintruth hand lotion while I'm relaxing in the evening helps. Finishing off with a dose of cuticle oil. A little tip with your cuticle oil is to rub it into each nail and cuticle individually. Giving them a bit of a massage and attention increases the blood flow to the area and can help with circulation and enhance nail growth and health.
The important things are consistency, care and hydration.Finding a hand cream that you like is a personal thing.

Nails are not quick to fix, and shirking on giving them attention isn't going to help. It will take time to see the fruits of your labour. Don't give up on your nubbins!
i really have to try the cuticle cream, everyone seems to love it :)
