For a long time now I've had a hankering for lovely, strong nails. Over the years I have tried many ways of duping myself and others into thinking this was the case.

From stick on falsies, press on nails, DIY Acrylics (Don't Ask!) to Acrylics done by 'professionals'.

After years of trial and error, spending more money on artificial nails than I would ever admit to, I have finally decided to embrace my pinkies and give my natural nails the love, care and attention they deserve.

I've been a stalking ninja for months now, pouring over the vast nail blogisphere and have found so much advice along the way. I have my favourites in The Nailasaurus and Chalkboard Nails. Both of these phenomenally talented ladies have inspired me to create my own little slice of advice and share my journey from the nubbins I have shown , hopefully, to glorious nails. In a journey that I hope can help and inspire others along the way.

Nail Polish is a way of cheering yourself up, a style of make up all your own. It can be as simple or complex as you like and the best part is, you can look at it and marvel at it all day without a mirror!

I am also a proud Brit, residing in South Wales (Where Dragons are commonplace don't you know!)
